GULFHE Fellowship Integrity, AI Use and Authorship
A GULFHE application must represent the applicant’s genuine professional experience, judgement, reflection and evidence. Digital tools may support preparation only within the published rules; they must never manufacture professional practice or evidence.
Acceptable AI-supported preparation
Where permitted by the current policy, AI tools may support activities such as language editing, organisation or brainstorming. Any use must comply with disclosure requirements and must not replace the applicant’s own reflection or professional judgement.
Prohibited uses
Do not use AI or any other method to fabricate evidence, outcomes, quotations, citations, stakeholder feedback, supporter statements, professional experience, data or reflective learning. Do not upload confidential or personal information to an AI service without authority and appropriate protection.
Supporter integrity
Supporters and verifiers must provide their own truthful statements or confirmations. Applicants must not impersonate a supporter or draft a false verification.
Concerns and investigations
Material integrity concerns may place an application on hold while a proportionate, conflict-free review is completed. The applicant should receive notice of the concern and an opportunity to respond, subject to any legitimate limitation required to protect an investigation.
